Geeking Out About: Care Packages!

Since I got to Penn, my friends and family have sent me the best care packages! And they always come at just the right time--usually at the end of a rough week. I want to share a few of the packages I've received. Maybe it'll give you some good ideas for care packages for your loved ones?

Here's one from on of my dear friends, Kylee. She sent me a pretty pot, a ziplock bag of dirt, forget-me-not seeds, and the FUN album. Right now, the happy sprouts are living on my window sill. Hopefully they live through winter. At any rate, isn't this just a darling idea?

Here's one from my family. I got this in mid-October. My mom included two mini-pumpkins and permanent markers so that a friend and I could doodle on them. There's also snacks (Korean and non), Good Earth teas, chocolate, jelly beans, AND... the Avengers DVD!!!

Then, one of our family friends, the Pratts, sent me the cutest little soup/rice bowl combo. It's adorable. I absolutely love it! I am also using the box it came in to store the tea bags that I may or may not be pilfering from the dining halls.

And, today I got a totally unexpected care package from a faculty member at my old high school. Yarn and knitting/crochet needles! It was a wonderful high note to end off this week. My mom had sent yarn previously, but I used it all up on a math project (more on that in a later post), so I was mourning the fact I had no more. BUT, Ms. Mazany saved the day!

I am absolutely blessed to have these people in my life who care about me enough to send me packages in the mail. They are absolutely something I am thankful for in this season of Thanksgiving.

And, on a separate note, Click Clack Clunk has reached 40,000 views! Thank you all so much for taking the time to visit my blog! I am thankful for my readers as well--especially for those of you who have stuck around in this period of transition.

Since I probably won't post for another week or more, have a great Thanksgiving!

I will be posting about my mathematical crochet project soon!
